Chișinău Design lab
In Chisinau, Moldova, we will convene external experts and multi-sector City Teams for an intensive design-build session that aims to a portfolio of experiments that have measurable impact and the potential to scale.
1. Provide a participatory framework for multi-sector stakeholders to co-design blueprints
for addressing systemic challenges and respond to key priorities and issues identified by the cities.
2. Collaboratively design and develop a portfolio of experiments that have measurable impact and the potential to scale.
3. Select Projects (processes, programs or products) to take into prototype phase.
The City Experiment Fund is a two year initiative that seeks to make sense of and address complex issues playing out in cities - including impacts of migration, climate change, and inequality - by working in the intersection of innovative methods and technologies.
We will develop a portfolio of 10 diverse, innovative, and context-specific experiments in partner cities across the region by providing catalytic funding that de-risks investment in experimentation, and supporting cities with the tools and processes they need to prepare for the future.

Cutting across ZoX, Domains, and Tools for System Change
We will work with City Teams to develop a portfolio of projects that cut across Zones of Experiment (ZoX), leverage all four public domains for greater reach, and employ tools of inclusive innovation to deepen understanding of the challenges and address complexity at a systems level.
We kicked off the Learning Journey with a series of webinars designed to reshape the context of our challenges, gain deeper insight, and unearth new perspectives.
